This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, device characteristics, country (roughly based on IP address), location (roughly based on IP address). This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App.
In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or device characteristics — is collected automatically when you first visit our App.
Information collected when you choose to send bug report to us
We only collect logs related to the tasks/steps the App is executing while it crashed when you choose to send a bug report. The tasks/steps information have no detail on anonymous identifier nor anything that can track back to you or your device. The log can help us to know what step/task before and after the crash/bug happens so we can narrow down the root cause.
In Short: NO. Moreover, all the data we have is an anonymous identifier and its publick key, nothing can track back to you.
You are sending transcript to your chosen Generative AI service providers for summarization
If you choose to transcribe your recordings on your mobile device with the App, we don't have access to any of your recordings and transcripts. Even when you choose to transcribe your recordings with our service served on our server, we don't collect and keep your recordings and transcripts in its raw form but only in an encrypted way (please refer to https://notetakers.vipresearch.ca/#about).
When you start the notes generation, the **App** will use the Generative AI service provider (e.g., Google Gemini or OpenAI GPT) and its API key you chose and supplied. The **App** will send the transcripts of a meeting/lecture you chose for generating notes to the GenAI service provider and receive the generated notes from the chosen service provider. You may want to double check with the data retention policy your chosen GenAI service provider may have before using it.
